With the arrival of the Thunder Collective in the conflict, everything suddenly halted. No one side had the means to overpower the others. Not without great risk to themselves. And so, with no other means to tilt the balance of the war, everything just… stopped. Dreva calmed down. The different factions returned to their homes, and for a time there was a fragile peace…
But honestly, I’m not sure how much longer that’s going to last. Word is spreading now, from the tips of the Thunder Collective to the depths of the Earth Regions. Pikamoon are disappearing. Someone, or something, has been taking them. The Pikamoon are scared, and even the faction leaders aren’t sure what to do. Whatever’s happening it has us all terrified…
And we don’t even know what it is.
Greetings travelers. Thank you, one and all, for the support you have shown our growing community these past few weeks. We are truly humbled to have such great people following us. Today, we’re going to do something a little different. After four weeks of exploring the different factions, we’re now going to dive into the world of Dreva…
First, a helpful bit of backstory. After millennia of wars, there’s an uneasy peace. A peace that is now threatened. Dreva has been stuck by a series of mysterious disappearances. Pikamoon from all factions have vanished into thin air. Plus, there’s been some strange sightings. There is talk of a dark fog, an Endless Darkness, that might just swallow everything up…
All of this sounds really bad. Fortunately, that’s why you’re here, brave Explorer. Having arrived in Dreva alongside others, you’ve been tasked with a mission. Visit the four different factions and figure out what’s happening. Some believe that each faction has a piece of the knowledge needed to solve this mystery. But they’re not going to share it with one another. That’s where you come in.
Well you and your companion of course.
What? Did you think we were going to send you into the world alone? Of course not! Upon arriving in the world of Dreva, you’ll receive your first Pikamoon. As a token holder, you’ll be able to mint a free NFT to obtain your loyal champion! Isn’t that awesome? With your best friend in tow, you can set forth to the first destination: the Earth Regions.
It’s important to note that Dreva isn’t the safest of places. While each faction’s territory is well guarded, the lands outside are wild. You could encounter anyone or anything. Lucky for you, the path to the Earth Regions is well-maintained. In fact, you’re only likely to encounter a group of travelers. Make sure you listen to their warnings about the “Endless Darkness”. You’re going to need all the information you can get.
Eventually, however, you’ll arrive within the Earth Regions. Before you is the Stone Doorway, the entrance into Drikta. Drikta is the greatest of the underground cities and home to the Earth Regent. If anyone has the information you seek, it’s probably him. With some convincing, the guards will let you inside… but warn you to be on your best behavior.
Drikta is a wondrous place. Buildings made of mud and stone. Homes carved into the ground itself. Yet we don’t have time to explore all of that. Not today at any rate. Right now, you’ve got an appointment with the Earth Regent. Entering the Ancient Palace, you at last meet with Regent Urda, leader of the Earth Regions…
And he’s not very happy to see you.
For you see, the Regent has grown paranoid and scared. With Pikamoon disappearing, he believes it’s only a matter of time before the “Endless Darkness” comes for him. Believing you to be an enemy, he demands that you be seized and thrown into the darkest cell! The guards step forth, and one of them prepares to battle you and your new Pikamoon friend…
What will happen next? Will you overcome the guards and make the Regent see reason? Or will you fall at the first hurdle, and doom Dreva to Endless Darkness?
