Pikamoon Metaverse (Pikaverse)
The Pikaverse is an open metaverse being developed in Unity. More specifically, the team is building the continent of Dreva.
The Beta version of our game is scheduled for Q4 2023. We are partnering with various PFP NFT projects across Ethereum to have these avatars developed in game. The Pikamoon which are a companion to your PFP avatar are used to battle and earn rewards, but are not your avatar.
What are Pikamoon?
Each Pikamoon is categorised from one of six regions (Earth, Water, Fire, Electric, Air & Rock) of the Pikaverse, ranging from common to ultra rare on a tiered system. NFTs will possess unique traits and ability’s that determine their strength in battle. The game is structured like Rock, Paper, Scissors, where Water NFTs will display superior characteristics against that of Fire, and Electric superior to Water.
It would be wise to collect multiple Pikamoon on your travels so that you are best equipped to navigate the treacherous lands.
How does Pikamoon work in-game?
Pikamoon is split into two major modes: an offline campaign mode and an online multiplayer mode. Currently, our focus is solely on the offline mode, with multiplayer to come later.
Players will be able to explore the beautiful world of Dreva alongside their Pikamoon companion. Players can enter this world either with a partner PFP, or with an official PFP NFT from Pikamoon (released in 2024).
The game features a gripping main story which pits the player against the 13th God, a malevolent entity seeking to reshape the world. Players must travel the open-world environment, assemble the ultimate team, battle powerful bosses, and challenge the Gods themselves if they’re to have any hope of saving Dreva…
Gameplay is divided into two distinct sections: exploration and battles. Exploration takes place in real-time, allowing the player to travel across Dreva.
Battles are turn-based fights between your Pikamoon and the opposing Pikamoon. Order your Pikamoon to use moves and consume items.
Players can battle NPC trainers to obtain Pika, which is used in the in-game marketplace to purchase assets like health, weapons, transport, and more!
How do I get Pikamoon NFTs?
All Pikamoon NFTs will be gifted for FREE to our token holders. The more $PIKA you own the greater number of NFTs you will be able to mint.
The NFTs are on a first come first serve basis, so the moment the entire first-generation NFTs are minted, that’s all. For example from the table above if you have 2,500,000 Pikamoon tokens (PIKA) you will be able to mint a maximum of 5 NFTs from that wallet.
Note that If there are still NFTs left over after a certain time, then the Pikamoon team takes possession of the remaining batch. The NFTs players will mint are completely random, however, minting more NFTs gives you a better chance of getting a God.
The Pikamoon ICO goes live on the 16th of April, you can sign up to the whitelist raffle.
